How our sessions are structured:
The teacher introduces and discusses the topic, to the learners, with a reflective question, an interactive simulation, an explainer video or choosing another appropriate resource. The tutor and student together shall explore examples, followed by the student undertaking to do the quiz questions independently. Depending on the depth of the topic, there will be ten to twenty questions the student will be given to complete. Learners can participate by asking and answering questions out loud or through the chat however they feel comfortable and learn best. Students will be directed to do further independent practice work in their own time, which may include quizzes from Alphareach website or external sites as learning games are incorporate to engage and enhance pupils learning.

Depending on the depth of the topic, there will be five to ten questions the student will be given to complete. During the sessions the pupils are encouraged to participate by asking and answering questions out loud or through the chat however they feel comfortable and learn best. Description of the course The objective of this course is to equip the students to understand the problem of modern-day slavery and although slavery today is in a different form compared to the transatlantic slave, it sadly still exists in our society. The problem is prevalent in Western Countries as is in developing countries but it is hidden. The students will learn the different types of slavery; why are people trapped in slavery and where we find them. They will also learn how to combat slavery and what part they can play in society to help people who are trapped. They will learn how they themselves do not become victims of modern-day slavery and learn where to seek help from the various agencies that work in the UK to protect vulnerable people who are prone to become victims of this crime. Also, at the same time, we do not become unwittingly a perpetrator.
