GCSE Maths Foundation Tier Course.

Our program will cover all the essential topics pupils need to learn to be successful at securing and improving their predicted grades. This course will prepare pupils to take exams from any board.
The course duration is over two to three years, depending on how well the pupil progress. Classes will run twice a week, with additional one-to-one support if the pupil require. The GCSE Maths syllabus covers eight topics.

Foundation Tier Maths Topics

  • Numbers – Sep to Dec
  • Algebra – Dec to March
  • Ratio, proportions and rates of change – April to July
  • Geometry  and Measure – Sep to Dec
  • Statistics and Probability – Jan to Mar
  • Revision and practice past papers – from March to June.
If a student takes a foundation tier GCSE maths course,
Maths GCSE is the core qualification most students will need to undertake.
GCSE Maths qualification provides access to a variety of career opportunities. It is also a foundation for GCSE Higher maths and further studies at the graduate levels. GCSE maths foundation is a demanding subject. The pupil’s are required to study independently, on average 4 to 5 hours per week.
