The ability to multiply and divide, along with the ability to add and subtract, is the fundamental building blocks of mathematics. It is the primary key to progressing further in the understanding of other mathematical concepts.

The Mastery-Based Learning – Multiplication and Division course helps learners develop the confidence to perform written calculations and apply these skills to solve arithmetic and mathematical problems.

This course is ideal for students who want to boost their confidence in adding and subtracting before progressing to multiplying and dividing from age 9 to 16.
It is especially suitable for pupils doing Functional skills level 1 maths and for students studying towards achieving grades 3 and 4 of Maths GCSE.
